Celebrate all things Celtic this weekend!

The pipes are callin’ this Saturday and Sunday as we celebrate the beauty, charm and excitement of Scotland, Ireland, and anywhere else kilts are worn!

Come out to celebrate your Celtic heritage and enter our “Bonnie Legs” competition to see what gentleman has the best calves in the Kingdom. Or if you’re feeling hungry, enter our Haggis Eating Competition – only for the brave of heart (and iron of stomach)! Be the first to finish one pound of Scotland’s national dish and win!

This Saturday is DEAF AWARENESS DAY at the Festival. Interpreters from VSA arts of Georgia will be signing for select shows on many of our stages throughout the day. Pick up a schedule at the Information Booth just inside the Front Gate or at the Renaissance Festival tent by the Brewer’s Pub. Watch for the universal symbol for sign language at designated stages.

The Georgia Renaissance Festival 31st Season – April 16 thru June 5, 2016! Georgia Renaissance Festival Discount Tickets

The Georgia Renaissance Festival is an interactive art and entertainment festival held each spring combining outdoor theater, circus-style entertainment, and an arts and craft marketplace, all set inside our recreated 16th-Century European village.

As soon as the gates to our village of Newcastle open, visitors are transported to a magical medieval theme park full of fun and whimsy. Over 150 skilled artisans inhabit charming cottages, creating unique one-of-a-kind treasures for your shopping pleasure. Strolling minstrels fill the air with music, and our colorful village characters are always ready to regale you with a joke, a story, or just plain silliness!

You’ll be hard-pressed to pass by one of our kitchens or pubs without sampling something delicious (usually served on a stick!) or a refreshing beverage. Hearty soups, sandwiches, corn on the cob, meat pies, fish and chips, and far too many tempting decadent desserts are the fare of the Faire.

But the ultimate Renaissance treat is the mighty Smoked Turkey Legge! Tipping the scales at 1 1/2 pounds each, these are a meal unto themselves!

Ten stages provide a continuous schedule of music, comedy, juggling, and amazing feats of skill. Talented performers from across the Realm will delight and entertain you all day long!

Featured Event -The Georgia Renaissance Festival 31st Season – April 16 thru June 5, 2016!!!
