Multi-generations of mothers, daughters and grandmothers meander the wooded trails together in search of the perfect item.

ATLANTA, GA – Sixthman, the pioneer in the themed cruise industry has been creating moments that make life rock for bands, brands, and their fans since 2001. As artists and entertainers across several genres place additional emphasis on creating closer and long lasting connections with their fan bases, the concept of setting sail with their most passionate fans on vacation continues to innovate and grow.
Coming off The KISS Kruise V and the second installments of Florida Georgia Line’s “This is How We Cruise” and the Mad Decent Boat Party this past Fall, Sixthman kicked off 2016 by producing TEN festivals in just TWO months. Four of the festivals, The Impractical Jokers Cruise, Walker Stalker Cruise, The Outlaw Country Cruise, and Gronk’s Party Ship were new to the Sixthman roster.Train’s Sail Across The Sun, Joe Bonamassa’s Keeping The Blues Alive at Sea, PARAMORE’s Parahoy, and Kid Rock’s Chillin’ The Most Cruise brought back their highly anticipated headliner events; while the Sixthman curated music festivals, Cayamo and The Rock Boat, celebrated years 9 and 16 respectively. Check out video recaps of some of these events here.
“This cruise season brought exciting milestones. We’re into our 15th year of creating moments that make life rock and only a handful of events away from our 100th sailing and the honor of taking guests on one million days of vacation. This year we expanded into new genres of music as well as into comedy (with The Impractical Jokers Cruise) and television (with Walker Stalker Cruise). As we wrap up another season, it remains clear while the ship, destinations, lights and stages are all part of the excitement…it’s the guests, artists, partners that truly set the stage for memories that last lifetime.”-Anthony Diaz, Sixthman COO
In addition to launching new events this cruise season, Sixthman extended the arms of philanthropy and teamed up with the “Pack For A Purpose” initiative. Guests who sailed on Sail Across the Sun and Kid Rock’s Chillin’ The Most Cruise donated over 1,000 lbs. of much-needed supplies to Jamaican children including books, backpacks, learning materials, first aid, and more that will be distributed to schools in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
So how does a company with less than 50 employees pull all of this off? By striving everyday to live up to our guiding Values (check them out and how we came up with them here). Sixthman goes above and beyond to create moments that change expectations about what work and a vacation can be – A company that truly does LIVE LOUD.
ABOUT SIXTHMAN: Since 2001, Sixthman has pioneered themed cruise experiences for bands, brands, and their fans. We are proud to be celebrating our 15th year and the accomplishment of executing 95 full ship charters, hosting over 207,000 guests for 835,000 days on vacation at sea with world class artists and brand partners such as KISS, Kid Rock, John Mayer, Zac Brown Band, Train, Florida Georgia Line, Paramore, Diplo, Joe Bonamassa, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 311, Alabama, Lyle Lovett, Barenaked Ladies, Sister Hazel, Turner Classic Movies, VH1, along with engaging festivals such as The Rock Boat and Cayamo. The Crab Shack – The concept for The Crab Shack began in 1990. Prior to that it was just a sleepy little fishing camp with a boat hoist, boat storage, live bait sales and a bar in the ship’s store where the locals could congregate and exaggerate their catches at the end of a day’s fishing. My wife at the time, Belinda Flanigan, and I are licensed Captains and we ran fishing charters. Belinda (still my business partner) ran inshore while I ran offshore charters. Read More
